Forester slide out 3015S wonít fully extend

My full length slide won’t fully go
Out. Am guessing house batteries may not have enough power because of last weeks bitter cold. Will it fully charge when driving?

I am plugged in to 30 Amp service. And nothing appears to be blocking the slide inside the coach or on the outside.

I believe you’re talking about a 3051. The slide is powered by the house batteries. If you disconnected the batteries they were not getting charged via the 30 amp connection.

I have that model and it’s always connected to shore power plus I never disconnect the batteries...too much stuff won’t work. I’m pretty sure driving will not charge them.

At some point during every day you suddenly realize nothing else productive is going to happen the rest of that day. For me, it usually occurs around 9 am.

Thanks!! Yes I am learning all the “tricks”.

As it turned out - a metal ring that is on the external of the awning had loosened ( and had 1 screw vs 3) so it had bent and obviously was rubbing. So the slide motor detected the awning would roll out it stopped.

The only reason we even looked there was I had experience with a manual awning that always had to be “unlocked” before you unrolled it. And so my RV repair shop guy climbed up there and found that.

When we took the bent one off, slide went out. So for now.... all is good!
