While at the Forest River Rally in August, the Service Dept. replaced the gasket on my electric wardrobe slide on my Georgetown for free.
Later we were in Maine when the slide stuck and wouldn't retract A mobile repair service found a stuck cable and disconnected it to retract the slide.
When I called Forest River to find someone in my area qualified to work on the slide, I left a message but, no one returned my call.
Luckily, I knew a repair center where I could get it fixed on my way to Florida this winter. The repair cost $500 and the tech said that when the pop rivets holding the slide retainers were removed, they were cut and the ends fell into the pulleys and cables, eventually jamming and damaging the cables. He said they should have drilled them out and removed the ends.
I guess free isn't always free.
