Fuse for slideout

With all the posts lately concerning slideout problems I decided to try and locate the fuse for my slideout. I have a 2012 FR Surveyor SV264. I can not seem to locate the fuse. I looked under the folding couch in the slide and can see the motor and wires but no sign of a fuse. Anyone have an idea of where to look? I don't have a problem now but would like to know where it is if I ever do. Thanks in advance for any suggestions on where to look.

Try starting at your batteries and follow the wires slides are normally wired direct and have some sort of resettable fuse on that wire close to the batteries

A slide might be fused in more than one location or have more than a single fuse. It really depends on the slide system installed. Electric motors and pumps can be fused separate of slide control modules if used. The time to learn about RV side operation is before it fails in a campground or RV park.

I agree. That's why I posted in the Surveyor forum first, hoping someone with a Surveyor might know. I guess I'll have to keep looking. Thanks for ideas.

The fuse on my 33RETS is in the fuse panel/breaker box. I replaced them with 30 AMP car circuit breakers.

Thanks.. I'll have to go out and look again. Wasn't looking for a 30 amp fuse so I could have missed it.

My Rockwood's slideout had a separate 30amp fuse outside, along the frame adjacent to the slideout.

First let me say thanks to all who responded. Made it back out to trailer today. Feeeling pretty stupid. Coolharts, you are correct. There is a 30 amp fuse in my panel. How I missed it the first time I looked is beyond me. I'm still going to crawl underneath and check for a fuse like bikendan mentioned. Thanks again everyone!

Great!

I have noticed that the fuse will blow sometimes when operating the slide on battery, especially if they are not fully charged. I had a problem with min on my maiden voyage and I found out the dealer did not wire the batteries correctly. I replaced my fuse with an automotive circuit breaker and corrected the wiring.

How did you replace the fuse with a breaker? Where did you mount the breaker. Sounds like a good idea to me.

It plugs right in like a new fuse:

Advance Auto also carries them in their electrical aisle.
