General Slide Question

New to the TT world, so I have a question about leaving the slides extended....

Our new TT is in place and leveled on our lot in an RV park. Can I put the slides out and leave them out until we need to move the trailer? It does not have slide covers but I plan to have them added when I bring it back to the dealer for the annual check up. I would have had them added prior to delivery but that's a whole different story.......

I could use a ladder and a blower to clear the tops of the slides each time we use it, but that seems like a bit of over-kill if we're not moving it.

Thoughts, suggestions?

Many people leave them out...I'm not one of them. My reasoning is that the more things are left exposed to the elements, the more chances of leaks, etc. It won't necessarily hurt anything, but I'd make sure I conditioned the seals and kept the debris clear on a fairly regular basis.

x2!

It only takes a few seconds to open them, so why leave them open to the elements.

We're on a seasonal site and leave our slides out from April 15th till Oct 15th. Never had a problem.
