Grey Wolf 29b Slide Floor Rot Replacement

Last year we bought a 2007 Cherokee Grey Wolf 29b. Everything is in great shape but we wanted to remodel it - paint everything, new flooring, etc. We leave it at family's cabin so it doesn't get towed save for once a year for storage.

While disassembling and removing carpet in the slide, I found the rear outside corner of the slide floor was rotten. Taking out the paneling in the corner, I found the rot seems to extend up about 18". Looking from outside, I am guessing it come in through the Darco where it is worn.

I am trying to find a way to repair this without removing the slide. I have found lots of info (by going the slide removal route), but I am hoping it is possible to do without that. It is about 18" of 2 wall studs and about 2 square feet of floor.

Thoughts with this? Thank you.

Trying to come up with a plan last night, I noticed some damp spots a bit further down the floor. Took out the paneling to have a look - appears the bottom left corner of the window is leaking. The 4 screws that are positioned around the corner radius were rusty as and the wood framing was damp.

I couldn't see any part of the seal missing around the window, except a couple pinholes in the seal here and there. Hard to believe that much water would get through those though. This is becoming less fun every day!
