how to lube the slide out tracks and seals

i am looking on some advice on how to lube the slide out tracks and seals.
the dealer told me to buy this spray stuff for seals. i also read here that baby powder does the same thing for rubber seals and wont attract dirt?
any other owners what do you use?

also anyone else mount a flat tv? wondering where to put the mount?
was going to use the old t/v cabinet for more storage? any help or advice be helpful> thanks

How often do you lubricate the seals? The slide drive gear?

I lube the rubber seals twice a year, minimum. I use the slide lube mentioned on the gears once a year.

I'd appreciate a little more specific information on my unit. It has three slideouts. Two of them have visible aluminum gear tracks at the top and bottom sides of the slideouts and the third one has only two gear track rails on the bottom of it that go through the frame. I lubed the aluminum gear tracks and the two gear track rails on the bottom. I could see no other ways to lube anything else. Did I do it right? No instructions anywhere that I've seen.

Is that just a dry lube? Silicon maybe?

It's the dry lube pictured above. I was surprised to see that it's a dark color. I was expecting white.

Interesting video. I makes sense that the baby powder would prevent sticking. However I wonder if the baby powder will keep the seal maintained properly. I thought they needed something that would keep them soft and moisturized.....

I would think, as soon as you wash the exterior, the baby powder would wash off the seals.

I wash my rig just twice a year. It sits in a storage lot all winter long. After each wash I do a roof inspection and also inspect all the caulking around doors and windows. At that time I also re-powder the seals. Even after sitting in the rain and snow all winter, the seals don't stick to the side when first opened.
I figured if it was recommended by Newmar...it was good enough for me.
