Hydraulic pump spinning but nothing moves

So last night I was getting ready to wash the 5th wheel. I went to pull in the slides using my phone app. My electric slide in the front came in then i went to put in the hydraulic slides. When i hit the retract button i could hear the hydraulic pump engage but nothing moved. I tried it a couple times with the same result. I tried the landing gear also with no movement. I was standing next to the pump and reservoir which was half full with everything extended and I could physically see the pump motor move a small amount as it engaged. I mean I could see what looked like the motor torquing when pushing the button. It seemed to be free spinning. I received a phone call and went inside to try the main touch pad. It worked with no issues. I proceeded to wash the rig and used my phone to extend everything back out.

Anyone have this happen before or know what it may have been? Leaving for a week long trip 700 miles from home on Sunday and hoping o not have this issue while we are gone.

Did you try to try to retract them again with the remote to see if they would work now?

It sounds like the retraction solenoid isn't pulling in. It could be a fuse on the remote receiver.

Could have been a relay or a solenoid stuck and by operating it, it started working. Hopefully it'll continue to work for a long time.
