Leaking slide

I have a 2016 265 RLDS Surveyor, that last year I found a wet spot on the carpet at the front of the slide which I took for a driving rain storm that we had that weekend. Yesterday we had friends in from Nebraska who wanted to see the inside of the camper so I opened it up and found water in the middle of the slide on the floor and wet carpet. Now we did have a pretty good rain storm over the weekend again but I am not even sure where to begin to look. Any suggestions?

You may start by inspecting your slide seals they should be compressed at least 50% but not squished tight. One way to check the fit is after dark with the slide in have someone inside with the light off and go slowly around the slide with a flash light if they see light mark the spot could be where the water is coming from. If you have windows on your slide ensure the outside window drains are free of debris so that they drain. Let the forum know what you find.
