Lippert Strikes Again
Started pulling my slide in this morning and failed to notice a small foam pillow behind the bed. The slide came up against it and stopped. Now it’s dead as a hammer, nothing in, or out. No lights blinking & reset does nothing. The 15A fuse in the panel is good, but....according to the instructions there should be a 30A, I suspect Forrest River has a hidden fuse someplace. Any one have any idea where that fuse may be in a 2251SLE ?The slide is only out 6” & I’m 200 mi from home so we’re going home. This is REALLY gonna mess up my aerodynamics 🙄

Not sure what Lippert has to do with it. Look for an inline fuse near the battery.

"Lippert Strikes Again"
So... you left a pillow behind the bed, retracted the slide until it quit and that is Lippert's fault?
Anyway... what type of slide do you have? There are several different types and the ways to manually retract them are different.
Do you know the procedure for yours?

Unless Lippert left the pillow there I fail to see how they're responsible
As pointed out, look for an inline fuse. On my trailer the inline fuse is near the junction box where the 7-wire umbilical cable joins the trailer wiring. You might encounter one or two more, for things like the tongue jack and any other high current accessory you might have (awning?)
BTW, it's Forest River that installs these fuses, not Lippert.

I’m assuming hydraulic slide. You do not say what model number. I have a fifth wheel and in the front basement there is what appears to be just a buss bar but it is actually a resettable breaker bar. There are small buttons on the side that can be pressed to reset.
Trace the positive wire from your hydraulic pump back and you may find you have one. Mine is behind a swing away panel in the front basement..
See pics attached... sorry they load sideways

After answering I read your post again and looked up your model. Looks like you have schwintec slide so my post is probably irrelevant...

Slide fuse
There should be a 20 amp fuse under trailer in a green plastic fuse holder, close to the battery. I questioned why the put it there. Then realized if they had put in in the fuse box, my slide would have blocked access. My tongue jack fuse is also there.

That must of been some pillow! Hopefully you can find a fuse that needs to be reset. Look up Schwintek slides and you will find all kinds of information on what to do. Might be easier to just call a mobile RV service. Good luck.

Thanks for the CONSTRUCTIVE comments. Still no one with any idea as to WHERE Forest River spliced in a fuse for the slide on a 2251SLE.

Did you read post #8? Or was that the fuse you already found?

A few thought if it's not too late.
Maybe if you share a few photos, we can help provide clearer instructions for manually retracting the slide...or if you started that investigation, let is know what you found.
Are you able to put a mulitmeter on the slide motor to determine if the motor went out or if the line to the motor is now dead (meaning you likely need to find the blown fuse).
I understand your frustration. I'm not sure why all don't. I Ieft a bunk ladder behind a slide wall in my 2010 camper a while back. The slide just stopped. I figure out what was blocking it, I moved it and everything worked. No blown fuse, no misaligned slide. No drama.

Honestly, it depends on who and on what day your unit was built, as to where any fuses are. Two identical units can be wired and plumbed very differently.
Follow the wires between the batteries and the slideout motors. That's what the rest of us do.....

Schwintek you need to find that controller and read the error. A reset on the controller will fix it as there is current limiting built into the controller.
here is self help video

We have told you! See post 2,4,5,8. It is up front inline with the battery! Jacks, slides, levelers are always outside of the trailer. Not in the fuse box. Some are reset able.

He has Schwintek Slides. The breaker is not on the Tongue as it is a Motorhome.
His attitude is less than ideal though.

B and B has the solution. You have to find the controller and try to reset it. I had a very close lightening strike one time which tripped the controller (you know the static electricity in the air that makes your hair stand up?), yeah, that strong. It took me awhile to find the controller and press the reset as indicated in the video. Slide came back to life after that.

Post #14 and #17 is the information that you need. Look for the slide Controller Box and go from there.

This youtube video shows the controller under the sink. I don’t know what mh this is but you need to find the controller..
Fast forward towards the end of the video.. https://youtu.be/eLxiabZCd-c

Not sure what the mh is from his numbers but I've heard of them being put in cabinets, outside compartments like my parents sunseeker. Our old tt had a raised slide and it was under the slide in the gap between the floor and slide floor.
