Main Slide Out- Rockwood 2905SS

Hey Guys,

I have an issue with my slide out. When I packed up camp earlier today, my slide went back in without a problem. When I got home and hit the switch to put the slide back out to unpack nothing happened. I don't hear anything when I hit the switch. I check the fuse panel under the fridge and none of the lights are lit up indicating a bad fuse. All of the other power accessories work fine. Any ideas what could be wrong or what else I can check?

Thank you in advance.

It's still likely (hopefully) a fuse. Fuses for slide outs and landing gear legs are usually near the batteries not in the converter panel. Look for a heavy wire that runs through a little box. It may be mounted to something, or may not be, just hanging in space on the wire. Likely to be a 30 amp auto type fuse, or might be a resettable circuit breaker.

Great tip!

So... did resetting the circuit breaker solve your problem?

There is a 30A fuse inside that green cover. Pulled the bad fuse out and slapped a new one in. That was it!

Send a message via Yahoo to bob caldwell
I'd change it out to an automatic re-settable one....Box of fuses almost pays for one..
