Our slideout quit!
Our slideout just stopped working. It slid in after our weekend last week, and now it isn't working at all. No motor sound--switch does nothing.
Any ideas to fix?
Thanks

We are plugged in to electric now. Checked breakers and they all ok. Possible that something could have come unplugged when we slid it in last weekend?

Check the 30amp fuse by the battery. I know it's a weird place but that's the one for the slide out.

Should look something like this. Front compartment next to the batter.

Do you have a motor home? If yes, the slide-out switch is deactivated for safety reasons while the engine motor is running. I found this out when I was running the motor for maintenance reasons and the switch didn't work and the fuse indicator lights were off also.

If the fuse is good your battery could be dead. Even if you are plugged in and your battery is dead your slides will not work

We have a travel trailer--batteries (2) are on the tongue. Would this special fuse be someplace different on travel trailers? Tried unhooking electric and battery power is good.
Very kind of you all to be responding to this post to help us. Thank you!

Yes, they can be in different places.
It's always more helpful to post year/make/model of TT, instead of just that it's a TT.
The fuse for the slideout of our Roo 23SS, was under the front roadside of the trailer. 30amp.

It was the fuse that made our slideout stop working. We found it near the batteries, underneath the trailer.
Thanks again!

If you go back to the store for more fuses, why not buy the 30 amp auto resetting circuit breaker instead of the fuse and never have to crawl under to replace the fuse again? Seems like the darn fuse will pop at the inconvenient time anyway.
