Unhappy Replacement of IRC valve for three slides

I have a 2012 Cedar Creek (36CKTS) with three slides. The IRC valve is leaking around the seal for the control valves. Has anyone replaced this valve and is there any special tips on doing the replacement? Looks easy enough and I have worked with lots of hydraulic systems in the Navy. I hate to pay someone to do this. It looks like the valve is available.

I’ve never had to work on mine but I will make a couple of suggestions.

1. I think it would be best to have the rooms fully retracted so most of fluid Is back into resivoir.

2. Once retracted push the extend button for about a second to release the pressure on the valves. You can feel this when you try to turn them. The valve will be hard to turn if a lot of pressure built up. By pushing the extend button for a short period will release this pressure but not move slide.

Let us know how it works out...pics would be great.

IRC Valve Replacement

Thanks for the information. Good advice. I was wondering how to reduce the pressure in the line so when I remove the hydraulic lines I won't have fluid spraying all over. I will do as you recommended. I assume that after I complete the replacement, I just cycle everything a few times to remove any air that got into the system. I understand it will self purge.
