Rockwood slides bent

We recently purchased a 2008 rockwood ultra lite 250s tt in great condition from the original owner. The unit was kept inside year round with the exception of when they were using it. The slide worked in and out when he showed us, with no issues that I saw. Mind you this is the first trailer with a slide. We purchased it and drove it 3 hours home with absolutely no issues. The next day I tried to put the slide out and it only went about 2 feet and stopped with some grinding and other great noises. Mind you I did not level or put the braces down😖. Big mistake. Come to find out I snapped the shaft on the armature of the motor. I ordered a new one and I also noticed that the rails are bent (seem to be buckling) has anyone else had this issue? I am able to extend and retract the slide manuals with some effort. I am thinking I should replace the slide rails. Thoughts?

Very odd for gear racks to be bent, maybe the PO used "Slide Supports "and had a flat tire? If racks are bent Replace! Youroo! !
