Roll UP

Has anyone have there slider being retracted and it roll up at the top. This is with it level and levelers down. I'm retracting before pulling up the levelers. Of course I said holy crap and stop. I extended it back out and started all over again standing on the floor base of the slider and it came on in. Not really sure why it happened. So, I thought I would ask if anyone else had this to happen and what you did to keep it from happening again. I drew a quick pic to give you an idea of what happened. As soon as I heard the binding sound I stop it happened so quick unexpectedly. Give me your thoughts.

Thanks Tim

Hi,
You did it right with a level unit, jacks down.

I had the exact thing happen on my old coachman express except the unit was unlevel, without stabilizers down. The slide went out ok but when I brought it in, it angled towards the ceiling like yours.
I did not suffer any damage but learned to get it level first, with jacks down.
If I was you, I would have a look at the slide mount brackets on the slide exterior wall underneath behind the aluminum trim. Make sure the bolts did not move or the brackets bent.
Has it happened more than once?

Slider Up

This unit is new, and we have only had it sense June. It has been in and out with only landing levelers downs at the dealer. I only do it when levelers are down because of fear that it might do it. I had this to happen only once. When it happend I back off on pressure stepped onto base and it came on in without any problem.

thanks for your imput.

Tim.
