slide outs

Hi all. Hopefully I will never have a slide out problem. If I do, I will first access the control box, press the relay 7 times to see if it activates the slide out. Failing that, I will disconnect the power at the fuse box or battery and try to move the slide out. Failing that, I will remove the set screws and disconnect the motors from the drive shafts to move the slide out. Hopefully something will work. Much appreciated to all those who have replied to this issue. Happy camping everyone!! Hope to meet up with you on the road.

However, gaining access to the set screw which is located behind the rubber molding is not easy. The molding is sealed in place with weatherproof caulking and cannot be slid up or down. So how does one access the set screw and where exactly is it located?
Has anyone actually manually operated the slide out using this system and can you provide detailed info on how to locate the set screw and how to move the rubber molding away from the set screw?
You can access the motor set screw on a v-cross 6504 by following this video:

Hope it helps!

Brett, you responded to a 6 year old thread. I hope the member has resolved their issues, after 6 years.
