Slide

We are looking at a new travel trailer with a dinette slide. when the slide is in we can see daylight, what we consider to be significant. Terrible to say but I believe a Rat would easily get in. When the slide is out, it seems to be sealed. We are not comfortable since if we were in transit this would let water in. any thoughts? This is a microlite 25 bhs, and we refused to sign to purchase it due to this and an adjustment of the slide. They are to be correcting this but we wanted opinions of others who have slides- can you see daylight when your slide is in?

I have a unit with two slides and I can not see daylight around the seals at all when closed or open.

Thanks Fonzie. There is a definite issue and they are trying to rectify it. We are in a wait and see mode. If we are not satisfied, we will walk away. Not interested in buying an issue.
