i have a 2010 sunseeker 3100ss. is there any way to manually open/close the slide in the event of a motor or power failure? i cannot see anything visible that resembles a crank or whatever. thanx. jk31668@aol.com
Trailer should have come with a crank.
There is usually a spot by the entry stairs where the crank goes in.
It's a hole about the size of 50-cent piece.
They like to hide them!
sorry, my rv is a 31 ft class c m/h not a trailer. the slide is on the left/drivers side of the coach
Hmmm......
Nothing on the exterior huh?
My BIL's trailer has a bedroom slide that has a port on the exterior for extending the slide in case of a failure.
You found nothing like that huh?
Well....I'm stumped.
Maybe one of the kind folks here will chime in with the answer.
Underneath the slide, on the outside, you'll find a compartment. On the top/ceiling of that compartment you'll see a shroud/cover held on by four screws. Drop the shroud to find the slide motor and manual slide nut.
I have a 2010 Dreamer/Freelander/Coachman and that's how my slide operates manually. Good luck.
