Slide leak on NEW TT

We just brought our brand new cruise lite 283qbxl last Saturday. Last night we got our first rain. Now there is a puddle in the middle of the hall going into the bunks in the back, right where the track stops when pulled in. The slide was in the whole time it was raining! How frustrating! I think it's coming in where the seal is notched for the track. Somebody put an extra notch in it, looks odd to me.Click image for larger version

Question? Are these pictures of the interior sweep seal? If so, I would look outside at the side that leaks to make sure the trailer D seal is in contact with the closed slide. The slide might need adjusted to contact that exterior D seal which actually stops water infiltration. The sweep seals "squeege" water off the slide walls when retracted and help with air and water infiltration when extended.
Can you post pics of the exterior with the slide closed on the side that is leaking?
Sorry to hear you are having issues with your brand new unit.

IMO, level should not be a factor if the D seal is properly compressed with slide closed. If this was a leak with the slide open, the camper level could be an issue if it was extreme?

Picture tells a thousand words. It looks like the side vertical D seal is interfering with the top horizontal D seal. The top needs to be above the side seal. The slide does look like it is good on adjustment, just need to get that corner seal issue tightened up.
Opinions???

Top seal does look to be wadded or bunched up. Side out topper will fix it right up. But seriously, take it back for some adjustments. Or do it yourself and save the hassle.

If I was closer to the dealer I bought It from I would just take it back but if not to difficult I would like to adjust myself. How do I go about adjusting it, to snug it up a little?

Open your side up, get ya a ladder and look at the seals. Maybe one just cut a little long or no installed " square ". Just take a look at it open and see what you see. If not sure, pics may help us see what you looking at.

I have been plagued with slide leaks for the entire first your of owning my 23IKSS with has two slide outs. The trailer has been at the dealer a total of 6 of the past 12 months. (but this include over the winter up north here where I would not have used it anyway). The patched and caulked, etc but cannot seem to fix it. I contacted Forest River warranty department a couple times during this time and they have now agreed to have me take it back to the factory for a real repair job, new seals and water pressure test. Goes in on Wednesday while I am driving through Indiana anyway. The factory warranty people seem very nice and are accommodating my schedule so I can drop it off heading west and pick it up on my way home three weeks later.

I suggest you keep on this with the dealer and if that does not work do not hesitate to contact the factory. Luckily mine only leaks when I drive in heavy rain.
