Depending on where you are parked you will want to have a step ladder to get up and clean the leaves, pine needles, etc. of the top of the slide before you retract it to prevent debris from entering your trailer and potential damage to your seals.
If you have a cable mechanism, you will want cable lubricant in addition to seal lubricant.
And you need a nearly fully charged battery to operate the slide, even if you are connected to shore power.
If the slide manual didn't come with the trailer try and find the manual online and download it on a device you have with you. It will provide information on maintenance and how to operate the slide manually in the event you need to.
