Slide makes loud noise

We have a 2016 fr3 32ds. Our kitchen slide makes a loud noise and will not move. Before it stopped working it would move but make a jumping noise(best way to explain it). Anyone have this happen?

Thank y'all so much in advance.

You may have the drive gear jumping a tooth on the rack! I had this happened on my Cedar Creek just recently. The dealer had to replaced both drive gears and the racks on the kitchen slide. My slide works perfectly now. This is something a dealer needs to fix to be done correctly.

Ours would close with no issue. When the slide is extended in the open position the last 6" to 12" the slide would jump a tooth and shake the entire slide along with making a very load noise.

In addition to other suggestions be sure to lube slide rails with dry lube. Camping World has this.

l have had to replace two gear boxes in my one electric slide. The gearing is just too small for what it is designed to do.
