Are you using the slide-out lock bars when traveling??

Mike I just bought this 5th wheel and am not aware of any bars to use. I ended up disconnecting the wiring to keep it closed

You're saying the slide does not move out with the wiring disconnected???

If this is so, I'd test the voltage at the slide motor while connected to your tow vehicle. You may have a slight voltage applied to the motor. Could be a problem with the slide-out switch.

You may not need the Lock Bars after you figure out the problem. I have never used mine; and many others haven't either.
