slide out cover overwrapped

Yesterday when we brought the slideout in the cover did not wrap correctly as the slide came in. Somehow the cover did not retract for a short while then overlapped itself as it then retracted. Some of the vinyl material is tucked under the vinyl cover that then did wrap. Now the cover will not unwrap as I try to put the slideout out. The roller on the unit is not rolling the material out.
1. Has anyone experienced this and is there a fairly simple way to release the roller to allow the vinyl material to unwrap?
2. Or is this a dealer service call.

problem solved

After taking the protective cover off we were able to insert spike in spring assembly and manually unwrap the vinyl cover to a point it could be pulled free . Not a simple task but it worked. I think the vinyl was very stiff in the 27 degree morning and did not wind-up smoothly as the slide was pulled in. Will watch it down the road for further problems.

Contact with Carefree of Colorado provided very helpful advice and included having manual emailed. Thanks to Carefree of Colorado support.
