Slide-Out Extends 3-4 inches By Itself Over The Winter

I have a 2000 Forest River Sierra. The trailer is never moved and is kept outside in Wisconsin. I live in Texas. Over the winter, the bedroom slide out works its way out about 3-4 inches on its own. I've noticed that the foot of the bed lifts off the floor an inch or two when I pull the slide-out in during October. Is this normal? When I come back in May of the following year, the slide-out has pulled away from the exterior siding about 3-4 inches and the bed is resting down on the floor. I suspect that the weight of the cantilevered bed is causing the slide-out to move out on its own to relieve the pressure. There are no oil leaks anywhere that I can find. Any ideas on how this can be solved? Thanks! Kevin
