Slide out hydraulics

Have Lippert hydraulic slide out/leveler system. One slide out would not retract - got a few suggestions from a previous post - unfortunately, none helped.

I put the valve in manual mode, hit the button inside the coach and the slide out retracted. I extended it again a little bit and the only way I can get it to retract is to put the valve in manual mode.

At least now I can drive it to the mechanic. I know nothing about hydraulics. Does this sound like some kind of a bad open/close switch in this particular valve? Any idea what kind of repair bill?

(The other slide out and 4 levers work just fine)

Thanks for your opinions.

Look in the basement for a microswitch that the slide actuates when it's pulled in. If the switch isn't "made" after closing, the slide wont work. All that's needed is to pull the switch in while someone else operates the slide until you can adjust it.

Good luck.

Thanks for the reply. I just got the rv back from the service station. They have no clue and were supposedly on the phone with lippert the last 2 days. I decided to delve into something I know nothing about.

I swapped (bedroom and main slide outs) where they go into the valves. The problem moved to the other slide out.

So I figured it has to be in the wiring. I pulled the control panel and there it was. The wire contact coming out of the switch was broke off so the wire was connected to nothing. (Looked like they rammed it into the wall when they put the cover on)

So now, I have to find out where to order a switch. If I can find a diagram, I will know what to order.
