Slide Out Leaking Only When Closed

We have our 2016 Lacrosse 327RES at the dealer for repair. It's been there since Feb. After multiple calls checking status the party line was waiting on parts. They came clean today stating it has not been looked at and could be months before it comes into the shop. The only reason I took it there was for warranty repairs. My warranty expires in March. I am going to go and get it and fix it myself. Rant over.

My question - are you supposed to seal the top of the bulb seal where it mates with the trailer slide walls. I know the leak is coming from the bulb seal. If so, this could be the source of the leak. Water appears to be entering behind the bulb seal and then onto the roof of the slide. The water runs across the slide and on to the floor. The slide does not leak when opened. Even during down pours, no water. If I close the slide, it leaks on the lightest rain. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

My brand new LaCrosse 324 is doing the same thing on the dining room super slide. Just arrived at a campground to find the area at the back under sofa soaked. No problems when open!
