slide out not working

Hi Everyone,
I have a 2008 Surveyor 5th wheel SV260BH, just picked it up from service this morning, had it in to replace the converter and concertone stereo. Now the slide doesn't work. Any ideas on what else to check before I drag it back to service, must have worked at the shop for them to get at everything...already checked the fuses and battery connections. Is there any other fuses lurking around for the slide. This would be an electric slide.
Thanks.
Ed

Welcome to the forum. Not familiar with 5th wheels, but do they have battery disconnect switches? Maybe they turned it off when they were working on your unit.

Slide not working is almost always the 30 amp fuse at the battery.
My fiver came with single blow fuses installed.

My VERY first mod was replacing them (I have two) with 30 amp circuit breakers.

Look in the immediate vacinity of your battery as the fuse MUST be located within 18 inches. I am assuming the fuses you checked were in the converter panel not at the battery itself.

thanks for the advise guys, replaced all the 30 amp fuses in the converter panel as well as the two in the battery compartment, took the control switch off no loose wire, can't find any other hidden switches, or mystery places, so I guess it's back to the service department tomorrow. I'm sure this trailer doesn't want to do anymore camping!
Thanks again
Ed

Does it sound like the motor is trying to turn?
Voltage at motor?
Maybe a broken or severed wire.
Have you screwed anything to the wall lately?
