slide out ski

We have a 2017 Saber by Forest River & am having trouble with what the dealer calls a ski which is a plastic piece that the slide out runs on to protect the wood on the bottom of the slide. My question is has anyone replaced these themselves & what is involved in doing so. We are 2 hours from dealer & had one replaced right after we brought it home & only opened the slide approx. 10 times & the same one is broken again

If the ski has broken that frequently, I would have the slide adjusted before I replaced it again.
