Slide out struggles?

So...just got back from camping for the weekend. The last few times out, when we bring in the slide out it struggles to start moving. Today, I had to go out and push it to get it moving. It does it no matter dry camping, hooked to TV, or on shore power. Lippert's instruction manual says not to lubricate the slide out.

Any thoughts to make things move under their own power?

What type of slide is it? Lippert makes more than one. The schwintechs have to be in sync or they will present all types of problems. When you run the slide out or in always hold the button down for 5 or more seconds. Look up the Schwin slides on youtube. lots of info on these.
