we just purchased a 2005 Georgetown with 3 slides, we don't long-term camp, just weekends, should I purchase slide out supports for the slides?

Welcome to the forum.

Not needed, and they can cause more damage than anything. Just imagine your rig settling in soft dirt, yet you slide supports don't. Now the slides try and hold up the weight of the camper.

this question is asked quite often.
slide supports are holdovers from the early days of slideouts.

now, the technology doesn't need them, in fact you should have something posted or in your manual, warning you NOT to use them.
most manufacturers will void the warranty if you do.

there are many threads about this on the forum.
a simple search will give you lots of reading on the subject.
