slide out won't slide in

when attempting to slide in the living/dining room on my 2001 sierra, the bottom wants to come in - the hydraulics are working properly, but the left hand top will not come in - like it is stuck. the result is that the entire slide starts to tipdownward on the outside, upward on the in side. The seal is not stuck to the frame - anyideas of the cause

Make sure there is nothing on top, like a stick.

I did check the top - nothing there - nothing seems to be holding it out

Yes, I have tried trying to push/pull the slide to assist the hydraulics - the thing won't budge
