Slide problem

We have a 2015 Cedar Creek 38 CK. We are in the road and are driving and realized that the front bedroom slide has come out a couple of inches while we are driving. We stopped to check it and pushed it back in and the button pulled it back in. However the button will not open it. It has the schwintech gear in it. We checked fuse which was fine. Any help please as we are in Utah and live in MI so not home for another 10 days.

You need to find the 4"x6" controller. But first, do you have a circuit breaker/wiring setup like the picture? If so, check the little cube breakers. One may have tripped. If not, you will need to find your controller and it us usually somewhere under/near the slide. Red/green LED lights will be flashing.

Also... what is on your slide? Sofa/dinette... bed.... kitchen... if there are cabinets on the slide, like a kitchen, check behind some panels. If a bed, check under a panel under the bed.

Thank you. We did find the cube fuse buttons, however when we got to the campground it did respond and open up. Will have to see what happens tomorrow when we get back on the road. We have a call in to Forest River Service as well.

Good to hear. When my Schwintek slide wouldn't open, I spent 2 hrs trying to figure out the problem and find the controller. Once I found the controller and it wouldn't reset, THAT is when I was told about the resettable breaker, which took less than 5 minutes to find and reset. Glad you didn't go through all that.
