Slide retracted without power.

Just returned from our first trip with Rockwood Mini lite 2104S.
Had a wonderful time.
When we got home and finished unloading we left the slide out so the topper could dry out.
Later I went and retracted the slide. Then I realized there was not any power going to the trailer. No plug or battery power.
Do I possibly have a problem with my battery shutoff?
I had to check and double check, and nope no power at all.
I'm confused. Please help..

Sorry did not make myself clear.
No, the battery is fine. I was just confused that the slide retracted without the battery turned on or being plugged into power.

Always start with the simplist thing, then go out from there. X2 on the dead bat. Define "later" in realtime terms for us, so we can help.

Battery shutoff does NOT shut everything off.

Look for that, press the little black button.

Reread this several times and I think you are asking how did the slide retract if the battery is shut off and you are not connected to shore power. The answer is that some things on some RVs do have a separate HD wire running to them that are connected directly to the battery prior to the shutoff. Almost always this includes the CO/propane alarm and many times it includes slide power as well as tongue jack power. If you check your battery, you should see several connections to the positive terminal of the battery. The main one that is shut off by the switch and several smaller ones that go directly to other items. There is not a real need for the slide power to go thru the shut off switch as it is switch controlled and either on or off and off draws no current.'

I don't think the slide motor is wired through the disconnect switch....it's wired straight from the battery thus it has it's own fuse under the trailer.

Beez, if the slide retracted a little bit, it is possible that one of the cylinders is leaking hydraulics.
