Slide went out crooked on 3rd trip

Our slide for U shaped dinette on or Forester 2501 worked fine for the first 2 trips but I noticed that while the wall on the drivers side had a 3 in space from top to bottom, it was closer at the top than the bottom on the pantry side.
We put the slide out this time and the molding at the top dragged against the side of the pantry and cracked at the top.
From the outside the slide is 19 in out at the bottom and only 17.5 in at the top but it is fully extended
To get it back i without further damage we had to unlevel the unit so the front was lower 2 in.
Any thoughts?
Thanks

Go to you tube and look up the type of slide you have. Some great videos that cover all types. Also check your wires under slide at control box. I had same issue with new m/h, wires come loose during travel. Plus once you start to open or close slide, never stop pushing until travel is complete. When you stop it throws the motors out of sync, but fairly easy to resync, just apita

I am having the same problem with my new 2015 Forest River Forester 3011DS should I let slides out before using automatic leveler or before. If I level it before, I get binding and wall rub at the top of the main slide.

That is only on the schiwntech slides. I don't see the racks on the slide so it must be another. Op needs to ID the type of slide.

I'm confused not hard to do, but you did it. Never use your slides until you are level, they could bind. If they are binding and you know that you are level then they need to be adjusted....
