slideout leak???

As i am a newbie to rving iwas just wondering if this was normal. I had my slideout out today during light rain and when i brought my slide in some water started running down the side of the slide and into the trailer. Im assuming this was just the water that was on top of the slideout outside and when the slide was brought in during the rain, it brought in this water too. (Maybe a cup or 2 of water) Does anyone else have this issue or is it something common during retracting the slide during rainfall?

Perfectly normal. The wiper seals should pull most off, but some will still slip by. You could add a slide topper to eliminate that.

yep, a slide topper would've eliminated almost all of that.
we made a big mistake by not having one installed when we bought our HTT.
one year later, it cost us twice as much to have one installed. but it was well worth the money.
