Slideout Locking Bars

How important, or is it, to use locking bars inside your unit, for slideouts, while traveling? My is a new 2016 Rockwood Signature ultralite triple slide.

I thought they quit using them. I had them on a 2011 V-Lite but my 2015 does not have them. I personally never used them in my 2011 where not needed. Later RJD

Forest River included them for a reason. I use mine when travelling.

Used them all the time on my Rockwood 8289. If I did not, the kitchen slide would tip out on tight right turns!!

I don't use my because I have a sticker that tells me to place slide lock here on the trailer wall but on the slide itself all I have is cheap 1/2" moldings to put it against. It would bend it in half.

Where do you place your locking bars? I agree w/ SCCS, there doesn't seem to be a good solid place to position them although without them my slides to work themselves out while traveling.
