Slideout on 2004 26ds

My slideout motor does not want to pull the slide in without helping it by pushing it from the outside. Any suggestions?

Well, since I think your trailer is 7 years old, I would lube the track mechanism. Next I would verify a good battery and battery voltage at the slide motor. The terminals may be corroded at the breaker, or the battery, or anywhere in between the battery and the slide motor. It takes a lot or current to move a slide, and I am assuming you don't have any popping or binding issues, (mechanical) when it is closing.

I had that problem last weekend while packing up to leave; and I think it was because I was tilted to the side the slides are on, and it wouldn't catch the gear like it does when it is level. I mistakenly put the stabilizer jacks all up before closing the slides, which caused it to tilt out that way. Randy
