Slideout screws loosening up

Hi. I have a 2015 Wildwood X-Lite 262 BH with one slide. I notice the outside screws loosening up (noticed some pretty poor workmanship too). Looks like #10 1.5" stainless screws. Can I replace them with # 8, 2' (or 1.75") screws? Any suggestions on why this would happen? Is this just normal wear & tear? Any advice would be greatly appreciated

It's because of power screw guns and they strip the screws out.

I've had two do that on my Crusader, one made a tear in the carpet. They appeared to be stripped. I coated them with Gorilla glue and reinstalled. I'll have to wait till next season to see if it works.
