Slides in or out?

Same here they are out unless we are moving. I have all kinds of room so it can be open and this way when I need to get away I just go out to our little house as my grand daughter calls it. I also keep the fridge full of summer drinks so when I'm out mowing and over heated I go in and get something cold to drink.When my wife wants to have a rummage sale she sits inside and watches TV and her sale is under the awning. So ours get used at home as much as when we are on the road.

I keep RV at home in the driveway and have to keep the slides in so the wife can get out. I usually will open them on the weekends just to mess around, but if I had the choice I would still keep them closed when not in use and keep a couple Damp Dries bags hanging to keep the moisture down.

Slide toppers. Roll out as the slide comes out. Keeps debris from collecting on top of the slide, as well as water.

Received your private message from this thread but cannot figure out how to reply other than going here. You asked where we seasonally camp in Alberta. We are at an rv resort about 10 km south of Vauxhall and 30 km north of Taber, Alberta. Look up "King Arthur RV Resort" on the web. They have a very good site with photos, park map, and information. There is an irrigation lake great for kayaking and fishing, lots of manicured common usage parkland, water, power, sewer, well managed with good sized lots, and good people. I don't golf but there is a course up the road from the resort and another one in Taber. Hope this helps you.

Ours is on a seasonal site and we use it every weekend we close them almost every week they stay open if they're wet. There's another camper that fights to open them in the spring then fights to put in in the fall. I just like it closed up better.

Thanks again everyone for helpful advise. I will probably put them in occasionally if for some reason I would not be able to go out one weekend. I do take the camper out on camping trips at least a couple of times a year also so more then likely I will not leave them out from April to November.
