I have a 2007 Georgetown 359XL. The living room slide has what appears to be excess sealing compound coming out from under the seal edges. Looks like to much was used when installing the seals at the factory. I can scrape the compound fron the slideout walls, but it continues the leak out more each time the weather gets hot. How can I remove this compound from the rubber seals without damage to the seal? This is causing the seals to stick to each other when I open or close the slides. Sooner or later the seals are going to be damaged.
