Troubleshooting - manual operation 2004 Wildcat

My trailer is a 2004 Forest River Wildcat 26ft.

Manual operation of slide out. My slide out motor is located in small compartment at the back and rear of trailer which also has the water pump. On the end of the slide motor is a 7/32 hex drive that supposed to allow me to operate the slide manually. Using a drill motor I have to operate the slide manually and it is not working. I have tried it with and without power connected (I was told that could make a difference). When turning this manual operation it is spinning freely and no noise is being made at all. It is like there is nothing engaged or operating. I have tried it both directions and it does not seem to make a difference. Please any suggestions. Thanks.

Given your description, the shear pin is most likely broken.

Can you post a picture of the motor and gearbox?
