Slide outs quit retracting about a foot from closed. They will extend but won’t retract further. The end cap on the hydraulic arm of the passenger side slide blew off and the retainer ring is hanging loose on the shaft. Both slides are sticking out about 12” so I need to find out how to manually retract the slides?
The toy hauler is only 1 month old (we’ve never had it out, this was supposed to be our first weekend camping). I guess I’ll have them set me up with a Forest River service but I wondered if anyone has had anything similar happen and if they fixed the hydraulic arm or replaced it?
