'09 5th Wheel Cedar Creek Winterization

Hi Everyone, I am brand new to 5th wheel's. Have always had motorhomes. Just picked up a 5th wheel Cedar Creek 34SATS this fall. Owners Mannual is not present with my campers. I need some help and guidance on winterization. I do not know where the fresh water holding tank drain is. It has a washer/dryer hook up that I am unfamiliar with. Can anyone out there help me with my first time winterization of my 5th wheel. Will greatly appreciate your help. Andy

Not sure on the fresh water tank drain. It may come out of the bottom of trailer in the form of a tube with a cap attached. It would look like the low point drain caps.

The W/D at least the way I do it, once the low point drain is open I open up the valves for the W/D lines so they drain. Close the valves before adding the pink stuff. While pumping pink in I crack the valves letting the air out and pink to raise to valve. I do both that way and have not had problem.

HI Andy! Welcome to Forest River Forums!!
I don't have your specific trailer so can't tell you exactly where the drain is.
If you crawl underneath and don't see it maybe someone here with the same RV will
chime in.

As far as the washer hookups I'd disconnect the washer and open the low point drains
and then open the washer hookup valves so the water can drain out of them.
Then I'd close them and do a normal "pump in the pink stuff" winterization.
If you have a washer there must be specific directions for it, hopefully found in the
washer owners manual.

Watch the video in our FAQ found here--

Good Luck!
