12 V Dirty Connection

We have a 2013 Cedar Creek 30RL. Over the weekend we had a problem with our Dometic air condition. The little hour glass in the thermostate would blink but the compressor would not kick on and the fan would also kick off and on. We took it to the service center at Camping world and it worked fine for them no problem at all. The service tech told me that it most likely it was a DIRTY 12 V at the pedestal at the campground....What does that mean?

You most likley had low voltage at the cg pedestal and or where you plugged into the contacts were dirty or badly burnt and then wasn't giving you a good connection.

Making sure this isn't a typo, did he say 12 volt or 120 volt?
