Yes I have the G2 which requires a 12 volt power cord. The G2+ has a power inserter and does not require a separate 12volt cord. I can use a 120volt to 12volt, was just trying to eliminate as many things that might fail. Still seems strange that CC doesn't put in a couple of 12 volt outlets

I purchased a marine grade 12 volt receptacle with digital read out in the water closet. Use this to drive my 12 volts for the wingard satellite dish that is automatic. I connected power to the 12 volt light in the water closet. This way I bring the cable line and the 12 volt line into the water closet for connectivity. Works great and you can monitor your voltage.

No our 36ckts did not come with any 12v outlets. I installed three.
