2010 CC Silverback 29RE Slide Floor Trim

Greetings! We have been reading the forum for a while. Thanks for helping solve a couple problems and answering a couple questions just by reading other member's posts. Been camping since we were kids. But need a bit of help. Kind of new at the forum thing so here goes. We have a 2010 CC Silverback 29RE. The kitchen slide has a trim strip on the floor that has come loose and is popping up near the middle. The strip is on the slide portion. It sticks up about 1/2" and has become a trip hazard and we are constantly catching our feet on it. I cannot see how the strip is secured. There are no nails, tacks, or staples through the plastic strip. If I run my fingers underneath the raised portion I can feel what may be the sharp ends of a couple staples.

How is this trim piece secured to the slide floor? Don't want to glue or tape it in case I need to remove it later.

Any suggestions?

Thanks,
BJ & Beach Lady
