2014 38FL outside TV?
Since FR did away with the Thule mount on the 2014 CC 38FL, has anyone figured out a way to mount a TV outside that doesn't involve disfigurement of the skin?

I'm like you - not trying to mess up that beautiful CC exterior much at all!
I've got 36CKTS, and on last trip had a TV I brought from home and set it up in the storage bay (I carved out enough space - thank goodness for flat screens!). Only problem was it was only 23", so I might get a larger one like 32" or so from Best Buy open box area, and maybe leave it in there. Light enough to set aside when I need to get to stuff.
I did have to run coax to the outside as I haven't decided on cutting into the area where that cable runs - it tucked behind plywood inside.
Many on forum have mounted TVs on sliding racks or to ceiling in storage area. Not doing that yet, maybe in time.

I'm thinking of using this as it has two wall mounts. The mounts are not too wide so one of them can be screwed into one of the aluminum wall studs centered between the built in exterior wall speakers. The other mount may go on the wall inside the basement for storage. I have cable and 110v outside already.

I'd be interested in seeing the finished product, so be sure to post a pic!
We have cable and 110 outside too, but the inside option worked well for the elements - close door when it rains if the awning out is not enough (and on my last trip awning motor died so I didn't have that luxury). I was able to use the 110 outlet in the storage bay, so ifi rework the cable, would be completely enclosed. Football season coming soon, so wanna get things set up right!
I see ur from Jax; where all do you camp? We try to get out twice a month when possible, and hit a few local areas (being as I'm still a working stiff). Favorite local spot is Flamingo Lake, and I'm overdue getting back there! Maybe our paths will cross at some point!

Thanks for the response , Wayne - unfortunately what works for your rig won't work for mine because my door configurations are very different. The 38FL only has three doors (besides the main entry) on the passenger side. One is a small plumbing access door, one has the outside reefer and the last one is my basement access but it's lots smaller than yours.....so it's still a work in progress
We've been full timing since early May and just got back to Jax from Virginia. Gonna keep 'er parked out at the Pecan Park RV Resort 'til we head out west in the spring. We looked at Flamingo Lake last year, but we'd end up paying for a lot of stuff we don't use. We also like the fact that Pecan Park is ALL paved....makes for a cleaner camper

I like the travel mount. Thanks. BUT - still trying to come up with something that doesn't make me poke holes in the skin....

We like Pecan Park too - well maintained, paved, etc. Flea market a nice way to pass the time on a lazy Saturday. Next time we're heading that way I'll let u know, maybe we meet, have a drink, etc!

Have you thought about those rails that go on the outside of a unit to mount those grills (I had one factory installed on my prior TT)? I've seen on the forum where some have used that rail to hold the TV instead. The rail is relatively thin so might not be that noticeable. I think those who have done this had to get a little creative with the mount that goes on the TV, but I've seen some mounted flush to the rig and some with a swing arm type mount so you can swivel, etc.

Since you don't want to mount anything on the skin, perhaps somekind of undercarriage mount could be adapted......put sliding adapter in and mount TV, reverse process when done, nothing show??

I looked at Thule as well but I think it is a Vesa 100mm mount, which is only rated for a 25 inch flat screen.
