2016 Cedar Creek 34 RE Converter location
I have searched and only increased my confusion on converter locations. Some are stand alone deck mounted others are integral with fuse/breaker panel. Like wise locations vary by model and year. My batteries are not properly charging, I need to check the converter as part of trouble shooting the problem. Can one of the tech Gurus out there please tell me how to access the converter.

No need. Go to the battery compartment, disconnect the batteries, and using a volt meter measure voltage between pos and neg cables.

I have instructions from WFCO on what they expect. I need to check at the converter to confirm or eliminate the source of the problem. Thanks for your reply but still need to go directly to the converter.

Excuse me, I guess I did not make myself clear. The battery cables IS directly at the converter. There is no connections between the converter and the battery. Like I said all you need to do is disconnect the battery and measure the converter voltage across the cable ends. This will tell you if there is or is not converter battery output.

I think the OP's question is where is his converter located. Maybe someone with that model can assist him. Good information to know.

I have a Cardinal but mine was behind the rear wall in the front pass thru compartment. It was just forward of the entry door and had a vent cut in the storage wall next to the converter fan. This was too far from the batteries so I relocated it to the front compartment next to the batteries.
Good luck!
Bill

Look into basement storage comp from curb side. look to rear there is a wall with a small sliding door you should find your converter inside that opening.

Crawl into the basement. Sorry, but that's required. Behind the sliding door where the central vac is, is a shelf. The converter is on that shelf. It is wired through to the fuse panel on floor inside by the electric/switch panel. But you can rarely access it from there. I tried taking off my fuse panel and reaching it but couldn't. We had to crawl inside the basement. That wasn't convenient, but that's what was required.

Usually pretty close behind the main breaker panel.

Thanks
Thanks to all who took the time to reply. Looks like I have a trip to the belly of the beast. I will empty the storage compartment and insert my generous self. Not the most accessible location but it is protected.

Access
YOu may want to look at the other side as well from the inside. On our 38EL we can access that same area in the basement through the garbage can drawer. Just remove the drawer and you can crawl in and almost stand up.

My '18 36CK2 looks like it can be gotten to through the garbage can cabinet too, but I certainly can't stand up in there. I'm hoping my short arms can reach it when I need to change it. I'm thinking of replacing it with a Progressive Dynamics converter.
