after draining the black water tank and closing valve I use a liberal amount of laundry or dish washing soap and fill the black tank 1/4 to 1/3 full of water. Drive to next location use the tank until it needs drained. Never have trouble with sensors. same thing can be done to gray water tanks to clean them out if they start to have an ody la pew problem.
