2019 Hathaway Basement door will not open.

Basement door locked and will not unlock with key. Do I need to go thru the other side and remove latch or is there a way to open?

Thanks

On my Cedar Creek those are slamlocks so I think it can be opened from inside. You should be able to check that on the other lock that works.

Is the key not turning in the lock or is the handle just not opening the door?

Have you tried to lube the key lock with some graphite powder?

I had same issue with my 2019 cks2.
Called dealer, was told doors are tight, to push in on door while unlocking door. It worked! Doors are so tight the locks latch cant move, but if you push in on door it will take pressure off latch, and it worked!

And that's a good thing. No water will leak into the compartments.
