33RL and kitchen slide?

I'm wondering about using the 5er at rest stops to have lunch or whatever...

With the kitchen slide closed on the 33RL can you get to and open the refrigerator? Or is the island in the way?

And is there room to use the dining table and chairs with the both slides in?

Cheers

I don't have one but looked at that floorplan and photos of the 33RL. The kitchen slide and the dining room/recliner slide will be tight to the center island when the slides are in.

We thought about this type of floorplan and wonder how to check for any interference before deploying the slides as you can't get to the back of the camper without crawling over the center island.

When the slides are closed the island is in the way of the fridge and table. You can't get to the living room either.
I love the floor plan and the dw loves the island. So If we are on a trip maybe just pack a small cooler with drinks and sandwiches. Or drop the jacks and open the slides.

Thanks for the replies.

We're looking at the the 29RE as well... looking at the floor plan it appears you can't get into the kitchen or back of the RV with the slides closed in the 29RE.

I'm not sure if having access to the kitchen while the slides are closed is a big deal or not. But the way we travel it would be nice to have easy access.

I don't think the 29re has the island so you might be able to. I liked the living room layout better on the 33rl and dw loves the island. Thats just my preference though. You may like the 29re better.

The lack of access to the fridge with the slides closed was the reason we went with the 29RL (discontinued) instead of the 29RE. I think we must have bought one of the last 29RL Silverbacks to come off the assembly line.
